Dinosaur National Monument Landscapes

The dark rain clouds and virga serve as a backdrop to the magnificent Split Mountain and the ranch land in the foreground. This was taken along the entrance road to Dinosaur National Monument in Utah.

Dinosaur National Monument straddles the border between Utah and Colorado, near the confluence of the Green and Yampa Rivers. Mostly in Colorado, there are so many wonders packed into an area of roughly 330 square miles. Consequently, it is a premiere destination for photographers.

Aspen Area Fall Landscapes

Fall in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado can give New England a run for its money—especially around Aspen, Colorado. Here are some photos from my September trip to Aspen.
