Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado encompasses over 415 square miles that straddles the Continental Divide. The main portals into the park are outside of Grand Lake on the western slope and Estes Park on the eastern slope.
Rocky Mountain National Park photos
I have been driving to Rocky Mountain National Park since 1993. So, this collection of photos spans over 20 years of visits.
About the park
Established by an act of Congress in 1915, this park is home to soaring mountains, cascading rivers, glaciated valleys, alpine tundra, and diverse flora and fauna. And, it is also home to the headwaters of the mighty Colorado River.
