Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah, is one of five national parks in Utah. It features the brilliant limestone and mudstone  pinnacles and hoodoos of the Clarion Formation. 

Traveling to Bryce Canyon National Park

Traveling from Boulder, Colorado, to Canyon City, Utah, is a breath taking trip! We headed out I-70 to Utah 24, south to Torrey, and Utah 12 through the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument to Bryce. Here is the route we took.

Before heading south on 24, we took a side trip west on I-70 to the San Rafael Swell and stopped to take pictures from the eastbound overlook. Here is a view from the overlook:
